Sharing links in Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive is now more versatile than ever. Other New Features:
- Shelf Retraction: When enabled, the shelf will automatically move to the nearest corner of the screen when you drop the first files onto an empty shelf. The option can be enabled in the "Advanced" tab inside the Dropover preferences screen.
- Tooltip for docked shelves: When you move your cursor over a docked shelf, a tooltip will appear displaying the title or description of the shelf. This feature helps you quickly identify the shelf without the need to undock it.
- Clear Individual Recent Shelves: Added an option to clear individual recent shelves directly from the menu bar. Simply hold the OPTION key in the recent shelves menu and select the shelf you wish to clear.

Fixes and Improvements:
- Addressed the issue where opening preferences resulted in the window appearing in the background.
- Fixed a problem where Dropover could hang and become unresponsive after displaying a new shelf.
- Ensured that all shelves close properly when selecting the "Close All Shelves" menu bar item.
- Resolved an issue where the "Reveal in Finder" button within the files grid view was partially obscured.
- Corrected a behaviour where dropping an empty file onto a new shelf would simply close the shelf without displaying an error.
- The expiration option in Dropover Cloud settings (accessible via Preferences Dropover Cloud > Settings) is now correctly localised.
- When "Direct Download" is chosen as the link type in the Dropover Cloud modal, the expiration link now correctly becomes disabled.

Introducing Custom Actions
Create customized actions by defining their parameters in advance and invoke them without any prompts. You can create multiple Custom Actions for various operations, such as resizing an image to a specific dimension or opening a specific application with dropped content. Custom Actions can even be assigned as Instant Actions for quick access. Manage and create Custom Actions easily in the new "Custom Actions" tab in Dropover's preferences.

Drag to Notch
MacBook users with a notch can now enjoy the convenience of dragging and dropping files onto it. When you drag files onto the notch, a new shelf will appear, neatly containing the dragged content. This feature is only available if your device has a notch and can be enabled in Dropover's preferences.

Adjust Shelf Settings Directly from the Shelf Menu
Adjust the settings of a specific shelf is has been made much easier in this update. Now, you can quickly change the indicator color or behavior directly from the shelf action menu. Additionally, a new option has been added where you can specify whether a shelf should stay in its own space.

Other Improvements in this Update:
- Added the "Copy Text Content" file action, which allows you to copy the content of text files in the shelf. This action will only appear if the shelf contains one or more text files.
- The shelf action menu is now automatically reloaded when relevant preferences have changed, such as when a new Custom Action is added or when a Cloud Service has been enabled or disabled.
- Custom Scripts (formerly known as Custom Actions) can now be used as Instant Actions for quicker access.
- Added an option in the preferences (Advanced tab) to keep shelves in their own space. When checked, new shelves will stay in their designated space.
- Improved the compression process for images in the "Convert Image" file action.
- Added support for compression of JPG images in the "Convert Format" file action. This feature was previously not available.
- Cancelling the dragging of content from the shelf to a destination is now possible using the ESC key.

Fixes in this Update:
- Resolved an issue that caused unnecessary continuous CPU usage in the background after closing Dropover's preference window.
- Fixed an issue where certain keyboard events (e.g., enter) were ignored in the shelf action menu.
- Corrected an issue where selecting "High Quality" image in the "Compress" file action resulted in higher image compression instead of the intended outcome.
- Resolved a crash issue that occurred after opening shelf content with a specific application.
- The preference window now opens on the correct screen in multi-screen mode. It was previously always opening on the main screen.

New: Command Bar
As more actions are added to the shelf action menu over time, you sometimes just want to quickly perform a specific action. With Command Bar, you are now able to invoke any action from the shelf action menu by typing. To bring up Command Bar, make sure your mouse hovers a shelf and press ⇧ return. Then start typing what action you want to perform (e.g. "Resize" or "AirDrop") and the relevant actions will appear as you type. Select the desired action with the up/down arrow key and invoke the action by simply hitting the return key.

New: Redact Text action
Dropover 4.7.0 introduces Redact Text action, which appears when you have an image in the shelf. Redact Text allows you to quickly obscure text on an image by just clicking on a text within the image. It's a great way to quickly hide private data from screenshots (or any image)!

- Added "Set Desktop Picture" image action
- Added "Get Info" file action
- Added option to close all shelves at once through the menu bar

Shelf action keyboard shortcuts
This version adds support to perform actions in the shelf using keyboard shortcuts. They can be invoked when the cursor is hovering above the shelf. The actions include closing the shelf, clearing the content, invoking Quick Look, opening actions menu, copying & pasting content and docking the shelf.

Additionally, Dropover 4.6.0 brings the following updates:
- Added option to distinguish shelves by color. When enabled, each shelf will show an unique color label to easier identify shelves. To enable this functionality, select the "Distinguish shelves by color" option in the Advanced tab of Dropover's preferences screen.
- The shelf now shows a drag indicator to signal when it's active. This serves as a cue that the shelf is draggable but also hints when keyboard shortcuts can be invoked.
- Improvement: Double click events are now only invoked when double-clicking the actual content in the shelf
- Added option to install "Add to Dropover" workflow for Alfred. This extension can be installed from the Advanced tab in Dropover's preferences screen.
