If you are using Apple Music as the music service in the app, you can now import Apple Music chart playlists (like the Top 100 and City Top 25) into a collection. 
So, aside from using the app to keep track of the music YOU love... over time..., you can now also record the musical preferences of one or more countries or cities... 
Just create a collection to store a country's or city's chart playlists and start importing the chart playlist for that country or city on a daily (or regular) schedule.

NOTE: This will be the last version supporting iOS 16. Newer versions of the app do require iOS 17.

Symbols are now used in the app to distinguish between songs/tracks and albums.

You can create your own Billboard Top 100, as the app now allows charts to consist of max 100 entries.
You can quickly move an entry across many positions. Simply swipe an entry to the right, select the Fast Move (Rabbit) button and enter the new position.

Minor redesign of the Discover interface.

Support for Shazam! You can now discover new music by letting the app listening to what is playing around you. Once discovered, you can add the music items to one or more collections.

ChartYourMusic integrates with Genius. Through this integration, you can now find a vast amount of information about your entries in a chart, ranging from song details, album details (including cover-flow experience), up until artist details. You want to know who played the violin in that one track; you can figure out directly from the app.
Graphs for entries in a collection with over 25 entries are vertically condensed in size, so you can still see them in one screen on an iPhone, rather than having to scroll.
From the About screen you can easily access the app's System Settings.
Bug fixes...

New features:
- Implemented caching of artwork images to avoid artwork not showing when scrolling and on slower internet connections.
- Added possibility to update the artwork of an entry manually, overriding what is defined for an entry. This is especially relevant for blank entries and/or entries that can not be found in the selected music service.

Major fix:
Fixed a crash when creating a collection.

Enabled smart text color on widgets (accidentally disabled in previous version).

This is merely an update to fully support iOS 16 (and drop support for older versions), and the newly introduced navigation functionality introduced with it. 
As a result, major bugs with iPad navigation in iOS 16 should have been solved.
Also fixed a number of minor bugs.

Added sharing feature to the collection overview, so you can now share your favorite music albums, tracks, much like but way more accurate (obviously) than Spotify Wrapped or Apple Music Replay...
Prevent creating duplicate entries when searching for music and selecting an entry that already exists in the collection.

NOTE: This will be the last version supporting iOS 15; subsequent versions will require iOS 16.

- Details of a chart can now be shared directly from the chart itself using the iOS Share functionality.
- For Instagram specifically, you can now easily create a story or post which automatically contains the artwork of number 1 in your chart and allows you to paste additional details as text.
- Re-entries in a chart are now identified by using a different symbol for the previous week, rather than the same symbol for brand new entries.
- Fixed a bug introduced with iPadOS 16.1, where switching between two- or three panes in the UI resulted in an app crash.

For everyone:
- Small (bug) fixes.

If you're on iOS 16:
- Interactive graph showing the position of an entry; just swipe across the graph in the Entry Detail view and a lollipop will provide details about date, position and points.
- Support for Lock Screen widget.

Small updates:
- Using separator when showing large numbers in tiles (e.g. 10,615 instead of 10615).
- Entries in Pick Existing Entry sheet now by default sorted on date rather than alphabetical.
- Notification in About Screen about potential updated version available in App Store.

Minor update:
- Removed graph showing positions over time for an entry from non-sequence collections. Does not make sense to show for these type of collections.

Better widget functionality:
- Improved widget handling of collections that are not defined as a sequence. Think of collecting end-of-year charts, as part of a collection, from multiple sources. A widget for this type of collection will now pick a random chart from the collection, rather than the latest chart (which is not so applicable for a non-sequence collection).
- Widgets will now ignore collections that are archived, to avoid having these appear all the time without really providing any updates.
