Spend more on a better app.

I was on a shoot yesterday using this app. I paired my phone as a remote and it worked well. Since I was using a proper teleprompter mount, I tried to mirror the text, and it asked me to upgrade. Fine, that’s expected. I started the trial, and then the remote wouldn’t work—an error popped up saying I had to go pro to use it. But that’s what the free trial enables. It also worked fine on the free version earlier, so this was really confusing. So I upgraded to pro, and it still didn’t work. Every time I tried to pair an iOS device to use as a remote, I got the error. I could control my iPhone from the iPad, but it would give me the error the other way around. I turned the iPad on and off, closed the app and restarted, deleted and reinstalled, but I had the same issue each time. So I deleted it and downloaded another app that actually worked. I’m out the $4.99, and I got to look like an idiot in front of a client. But I learned a lesson: test all of the functionality of an app before the day of the shoot. Because normal, vital features might inexplicably get nerfed once you pay the developer.

You used the version 1.3.5 back then and since then we improved a lot in the app. We are currently at version 5.1! If you feel like giving another try to our app, please send a feedback from the settings and we would like to offer you a 3 month free trial to see that if we can change your opinion about our product! We spent years improving the app and I am certain you would be happy to use it now!

Unable to use own headset and being charged twice

The format has been changed which does not allow me to record using my own headset anymore. For this reason, I will also be canceling my service. Also I’ve been charged twice for the same service. I paid months ago for the service which I installed on my iPad, but then I had to pay again when I tried to add the app to my iPhone. When I canceled the service on my phone, it also cancelled the service I paid for months ago on my iPad. Being charged twice for the same service is ridiculous, especially if now I’m not able to properly record my messages because I can’t use my headphone to record.
