Weather ‪´‬ 4+

It has an hour by hour of wind icon that comes with the free basic. You go into settings in app and turn it on. So far so good. I don’t like to pay for weather apps because I I find after a while they become inaccurate. And I don’t want a pop up add every time I want to view anything. I just want one screen that shows the rain and wind by hour. And this has it! Perfect. Exactly what I needed!

I loved Dark Sky which was acquired by Apple and was supposed to be incorporated into Apple Weather. Unfortunately, many of my favorite features of Dark Sky aren’t found in Apple Weather even though they killed Dark Sky. I ride bikes a lot and want to know current and projected wind speed and direction. Even though I have the premium version, I don’t get hourly wind direction. Additionally, I loved that Dark Sky had the Doppler radar satellite mapping thing so you could see the rain coming and going. This doesn’t have that either. It does have a way higher price—so that’s awesome. If I’m missing these features because they just aren’t easy to find or readily available, please let me know. Or maybe just resurrect Dark Sky?

We do have hourly wind forecast (speed and direction) in the last version. You have to activate « display wind » in the settings tab. Radar maps are coming soon.

Parents don’t worry! This is an appropriate app for your kids! So when you first get on the app you need to type in your city or your family members city’s. It’s like the other app most other people use. It shows degrees, minutes,possibilities, and miles, and everything else ! It’s really cool, don’t be scared for adds. No adds!
