Focus & ADHD Reading - Glide 4+

The Glide tool has so many options and uses. I'm a freelance editor and I do a ton of on-screen close reading. This will save me time and pay for itself quickly.

One top review said it doesn't work on second monitors, but I took the chance and was able to figure it out. Just activate the app from the toolbar in the monitor space you want it to appear in. This split is actually a great feature, because I can have something up on one screen for reference and at the same time have my Glide bar on for my other screen.

Having spent the majority of my life overcoming visual-perception related issues in addition to other learning and medical disabilities, it is amazing to find an application such as this that could improve so many lives. I used to have to print everything and use an index card or paper to cover while reading to prevent nausea & dizziness, and ot retain the information...now, I don't have to! This is truly life-changing now that I am in graduate school. My only recommendation is to be able to change the width of the "in focus" portion (the section being read) because depending on the font size of what I am reading, I find it is covering a bit too much or not enough.

Ignore my previous comment. This app works great, I just didn't figure it out at first. There's a tiny black square in the top bar- use that to access your controller. App seems to be perfect and not a scam (though some people may benefit from more instructions on how to get started with it).
