Hello everyone! Some of the most requested features are in this update.
New
- Custom Default App Selection: Now you have the flexibility to choose your preferred app for opening notes. This feature proves particularly handy for users who integrate Type with their favorite note-taking apps like Obsidian. Simply navigate to Settings > General to make the switch.
- Localized Date: The date format now seamlessly aligns with your computer's language settings. For existing users, it will stay in English by default. You can change it in Settings > Format.

- Performance Boost: Experience a significant speed enhancement when opening the app or when adding new entries, thanks to improvements in the parsing algorithm.
Fixed
- Text Field focus: Resolved the issue of text fields losing focus upon pressing the Tab key. This fix ensures uninterrupted typing.

Great Little App with very Responsive Developer!
It's hard to get a feel for what this app does from the description and the Screen Shots. In short, you can create a text file with this app and add entries to it very quickly through its efficient streamlined interface.
What the description doesn't tell you is the details of how this works. You can choose to save the text file anywhere you like. Or you can choose an existing text file for this app to manage and update. Note: When selected an existing file, the OS will warn you that you are about to overwrite the file. This isn't the case. The app will not overwrite the file, but rather add it to its list of text files that it is managing which you can select from its UI. Then you can quickly make entries into any of the text files you've told it about.
Very clever idea and an app I didn't know I needed, but now love.

Perfect stream-of-thought note taking app!
While I still need to bake my habit a bit more, Type provides a seamless interface to getting your thoughts out of your head so you can focus on the task at hand without worrying you'll forget your thought or becoming distracted.

zero friction, super intuitive
Type is the exact quick entry note taking app I've been searching for! Intuitive controls, lightning fast, and supremely flexible formatting, storage locations, and file types. Nicolas has a near perfect app with the v1.1 update. Awesome stuff!!
