■ Integration

You can of course use it as a companion to any calendar app. The “Open Calendar” button will open the default calendar app. Clicking an event will show it directly in your calendar app if it's Calendar, Fantastical, or BusyCal. If not, it will be shown in the Calendar app.

■ FAQ

‣ I have Fantastical set as my default calendar app but Today still opens Calendar

There is a macOS bug which makes the default calendar app setting not work. To work around this, drag an event from the Calendar app into Finder, right-click on it, select “Get Info”, select your calendar in the “Open with” field, and click “Change All”.

■ Support

You can contact me through the feedback button in the app.

Simple and elegant

I had a different menu bar calendar that broke when I updated to Sonoma. This app works great so far.

My only suggestion would be to pull "Settings" out from the "hide nonessential menu items", so you can still hide most stuff, but still access the settings without having to remember the shortcut.

Either way, still seems awesome and thanks for making it!

Really good menu app, just missing a couple of things

This app can easily compete with Meeter. Personally I like the menu UI on this app way better - it's soo much cleaner and more elegant.

The only couple of things I would add are:
- relative time in the menu until the next meeting (in 1h 5m) right next to the icon
- clickable notification at the time of the meeting (or a few minutes before), clicking the notification would open the link to the video call

As always, really love the Sindre Sorhus apps, they are simply the best!

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the suggestions. That is not planned for this app, but I plan to make a proper Meeter competitor at some point. My Dato app has both of the suggestions.

Great App but quick question

I love how simple this app is. Is so much easy then opeing a calender app when you can just open from the menu. Though it stop working with the sonoma beta is this on my end or is it just not ready for sonoma yet?

Developer Response ,

It should work fine. Make sure you are on the latest Sonoma beta.
