Description

Run Shortcuts automatically based on your Calendar events.

Everything is based on simple Rules. When an event matches them, your selected actions will be triggered with input of your choice.
Enabling you to easily set Focus Modes during meetings, adjust lights and so much more. All based on your calendar.

Note: Rules can only trigger Shortcuts while the app and your Mac are running.

Rules can match combinations of these conditions:
+ Event Title
+ Location
+ Notes
+ Is All Day Event
+ Has Alarms
+ Is Canceled
+ Your Status
+ Your Availability (busy / free)
+ Start Time
+ End Time
+ Duration
+ Calendar

Rules integrates with Apple Calendar and works offline, keeping all your data on device.

Best Exchange Solution

Rules set's the bar for best automation workaround for a per user exchange setup. Microsoft's cloud based automation via Power Automate when it comes to anything event based is pretty dismal... but Rules paired Apple's Calendar (which is populated by Microsoft/Google etc) – is the fix I needed including the granularity that comes with it!

Great app

Would give it 5 stars if the rules could be more nuanced (e.g. calendar is A OR B AND title contains "Meeting"). Even with PRO I'll end up with many rules that are similar.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the review. For text based conditions using “matches” allows you to use regular expressions - This way you can check for text is A or B.

For your calendar example currently the only way to match A or B is to use multiple “is not” for all other options. This is not ideal. I will work on adding a way to select multiple in a future update.

If there are any other conditions that would be helpful please let me know at rules@arminbuilds.com
