About X‎

It’s like a pinned note, in its own app, for important things that you want to keep in the forefront of your mind.

Featuring beautiful typefaces.

The app feels like just 1 note (but you can create up to 10 infinite pages).

It’s fast and easy to edit.

The interface is unobtrusive and buttons and menus are placed low on the screen so you don’t have to reach for them.

You can mark lines by giving them a color and by making them italic.

There is extra spacing between lines, for clarity.

You can add a widget to your Home Screen and Lock Screen that shows the line that was last selected during editing in the app.

Each page is saved as a plain text file, in iCloud Drive or only locally on your iPhone or iPad.

Text and links can be added to a page in the app from inside other apps using the Share button.

X does not require an account, works offline, and does not collect any data.
If you have Share With App Developers turned on in iOS or iPadOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements, we receive App Analytics from Apple that do not personally identify you.
If you want your files in iCloud Drive to be end-to-end encrypted, please turn on Advanced Data Protection in iOS or iPadOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Advanced Data Protection.
