Brand new Trends tab!

This update brings a refreshed Trends tab with more of the good stuff from our web app. The overview screen (what you see when you first visit the Trends tab) has had an update to the UI, particularly for the correlation card, where you can shuffle to find a random correlation, or choose two specific attributes to see if there's a correlation between them.

There's also a new menu at the top of this screen where you can choose to view a trends page for any of your attributes. Select a group, then choose an attribute from that group and get an overview of stats for that attribute, long-term trends, and top correlations.

v 3.0

Manual tracking is here!

We've just launched one of our biggest updates ever for Exist! Now you can create and track any number you like in Exist, quickly entering the data directly into the iOS app.

Manual tracking is a huge change in how Exist works, and the culmination of years of work. We hope it'll dramatically expand the ways you can use Exist.

For anything you can think of where you want to enter a number, you can use manual tracking. You can create your own attributes with any of these types:

- quantity (e.g. 2 coffees)
- decimal (e.g. 13.5 kgs)
- duration (e.g. 02:15 time in meetings)
- percentage (e.g. 65% daily habits completed)
- scale from 1-9 (e.g. 4/9 stress level)
- time of day (e.g. 2:45 pm last had caffeine)

With this update, you can track whatever numbers you want in Exist, alongside those official attributes we already support, and they'll work just the same. We’ll track their averages, long-term trends, and of course find correlations, just like we do with your existing attributes and tags. Manual tracking makes the power of our data analysis available to any number about your life you want to track, and removes the need for a separate app for tracking your habits and symptoms.

v 2.5.1

Thanks for using Exist! If you like the app, please consider giving us a review on the App Store, to help us find more users. And remember you can use the app's feedback option (on the settings screen) to contact us directly anytime.

This update makes a change to the tag list to help prevent accidentally creating tags. When you search for a tag in the search box, tapping enter/return on your keyboard will no longer create a tag using the text in the search box. To create a new tag, you'll now need to tap the "Add" button.

v 2.3.5

Hi there, thanks for using Exist! This update brings unicode support to custom tag names, improvements to how creating and editing tags is handled in the app, and bug fixes. Don't forget to use the feedback option from the app's settings screen to let me know if you have any feedback. Cheers, Belle

NEW
- Custom tags now support unicode! This means you can use emoji and letters with accents and they won't be removed from your tag name

IMPROVED
- Creating a new tag will now make that tag available for all other days on the Review tab without needing to pull to refresh first
- Deleting or renaming a tag will also update this tag for other days on the Review tab without needing to pull to refresh first

CHANGED
- This version adds additional logging of errors to help us debug issues for you without you needing to send us logs manually from the app. Our privacy policy has been updated to reflect these changes

FIXED
- Problem with turning on syncing for Apple Health attributes for some users
- Tapping several quick tags on the Today card would only save the last tag tapped
- Sometimes only one or two tags would show up on the Review screen
