Small interface changes

This latest release features small bug fixes & improvements

In this update of Kilowatt, we have implemented various improvements.

• You can now remove chargers that you have added yourself.
• Support for hybrid car models is no longer available.
• We have added a large number of new car models.

The most recent update to our Electric Car Charging Timer app for iOS includes updated model data for several new electric car models, ensuring that users have access to the most accurate and up-to-date charging parameters for their specific vehicles.

This version fixes the navigation issues for iPad users, and adds a silly new feature that allows you to change the app icon to something more suitable to your great sense of style.

This latest releases features some design changes like the new tabbar navigation. But more importantly, instead of the regular notification sound you can now also choose a car horn sound.

Hey Kilowatt fans!

Exciting update! We've added support for 28 new car models, bringing the total to 395! Now even more people can enjoy the convenience of using Kilowatt.

We've also fixed some issues with existing model data to ensure accuracy. Thanks for being part of the Kilowatt community! We're always working to improve our app, and we couldn't do it without your support. Stay tuned for more updates in the future!

This release contains updated information for some of the supported car models, and some new models.

In this release we updated the model data again, and we added extra buttons to finetune the input percentages for the start and goal charge.

Bug fixes and small improvements

In this release we fixed some small UI issues, including a reminder that you can add custom chargers when the one you want isn’t in the presets. Did you know you can add a custom charger? Quite handy..

• Bug fix: timer no longer counts back
• Improvement: main screen now also shows total number of added killowatt hours

Fixes a bug where kilometers would not be correctly converted to miles and vice versa.

This release also includes the new Favorites feature to give you easy access to your most used vehicles.

This version adds vehicle favorites to the selection view! By tapping the star icon next to a vehicle it will get added to the top of the selection view for easy access. It seems some of our drivers tend to (test?) drive multiple ev models since this was a much requested feature.

• Pin vehicles to the top of the list with Favorites

• Updated some of the other vehicle data; we now support 328 different models!
• Fixed a bug where the distance unit override (using kilometers or miles instead of your locale default) did not always work

Small bug fixes & improvements.

This release fixes an issue where the new distance unit setting would not always override the locale setting for some views. As an added bonus the counter view has received a bit of a facelift.

This version adds the option to set your preferred range unit to kilometers or miles independent of your systems locale settings.

And of course, Happy New Year everyone! May 2022 be an energy efficient year for you and your loved ones.

This release adds a much requested range estimate to the app for any combination of charger and model. Both the timer settings and the running timer will now show the expected range in kilometers or miles based, as well as the battery percentages, for average model range and situations. The true range can of course be different based on weather, occupancy and many other variables but this should at least give a helpful indication when planning your charge.

We also switched to our own data source for the electric car model data and have updated our data with the following new models and charging curves.
