What's New

Hey there, battery trackers! I know it's another small update - I've been down with a nasty illness that's slowed things down quite a bit. But don't worry, I'll be back with bigger updates once I'm back on my feet!

Bug Fixes

• Live Activities Fix: I've fixed a critical issue where battery control for Live Activities wasn't working at all. Everything should be running smoothly now!

• Arabic Localization: The Arabic translations got some love - and a huge thank you to @Salma for the amazing help with these improvements!

I'm absolutely blown away by the global support this month! A massive shout-out to my new friends from South Korea, United States, Ukraine, Brazil (wow, so many of you!), Indonesia, Morocco, France, Germany, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, and - exciting milestone - my first Swiss user! It's incredible to see Unplugged reaching so many corners of the world.

Hello fellow climbers!

This update introduces an all-new Watch app for Redpoint:
- Completely redesigned & rebuilt using modern SwiftUI technology.
- Allowing us to make use of the larger Watch screens and build more complex user interfaces.
- Grades are now always visible at the bottom of the workout view when you swipe down one page.
- Adds double tap feature for newer Watches.
- You can now change the grading system during a workout.
- Improved tracking reliability and sync with phone.

We’ve been working on this update for the last couple of months, we hope you like it as much as we do!

Next up, we’ll focus on the iPhone version of Redpoint, especially improving the data visualization, settings and sync with Strava and theCrag.com.

This version separates out settings relating to merging duplicate people into a new "Duplicates" section in the in-app settings, and provides a new option to manually trigger a merge of duplicate people, alongside the existing option to automatically merge duplicates during sync and import.

This update provides further performance improvements related to how long-running background operations are handled during sync and import activities. It also provides a fix for an issue that could prevent successful completion of the automatic upgrade introduced in Intro 2.0.2 that runs on launch for existing installs.

This update introduces a Background Sounds tool in the Tools tab, allowing you to play our high-quality, seamless sounds directly, without needing to configure a widget first.

We've also now made several of the sounds free available to everyone to enjoy. These include Brown Noise, Waterfall, Forest at Dawn, and Beach Waves. Enjoy!

The 2024.10.0 release contains on-going bug fixes and stability improvements.

- New UI for the bottom floating bar with buttons. The buttons are now larger, animate nicer, and take up less space, obscuring less of the UI when reading articles.

- The Settings UI has been redone using a common framework for all my apps. This should be more reliable, and faster.

- Added missing localisation strings for all supported languages.

- Feeds with no icons now show a generated icon using letters from the feed name.

- Fixed an issue in iOS 18 where Airplay mirroring would not reliably work for viewing articles.

- Fixed a bug where the app would sometimes hang loading a remote video (only when streaming over HLS).
